Today was one of the first days being outside was tolerable! Sun was out, wind was down and rain held out for the last week. Chris and I got the girls and headed out to evaluate the garden. Things are starting to spring to life. The girls were busy scratching and picking all day and they were not happy about having to come in once the sun went down. When we picked them up they were heavier than normal! Eating bugs and worms all day made them very happy campers. The girls even got to go in the garden.
The compost has been decomposing over the last four months and is starting to look good. Plenty of worms working the soil and I tossed some leaves in so they could break down quicker.
Friday night Chris and I got everything together to create the seedling rack. This will be able to get 1600 seedlings going at a time!! Spring Fever has officially started!
